Nissan Terrano Facelift Review & Test Drive

Nissan Terrano Overview

Nissan has launched the facelift Terrano in India today. The updated SUV gets minimal changes to the exterior while inside is where one will find the maximum number of changes. The Terrano was launched in India back in 2013 and based on the same platform which Renault uses to underpin their Duster SUV as well. The updated Terrano get 22 brand new features which have been provided to strengthen the SUV’s smarter and bolder appeal to customers.

Nissan says that the SUV will compliment the lifestyle of today’s Indian customers. The updated Terrano although does not get any mechanical upgrades to its engine. It still continues with the same 1.6-litre petrol and the 1.5 Litre diesel unit. Transmission option for the facelift car includes a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a six speed automated manual which is made available only with the more potent diesel variant. Nissan Terrano price range in India is between 11,19,510 to 16,18,135, check for detail pricing of Nissan Terrano in Carzprice

Nissan Terrano Design

Dimensionally, Nissan Terrano measures 4.33m in length with a width of 1.83m. Its overall height with the fixed roof rail is 1.67m. The wheelbase of 2.67m adds more to the interior spacing which is already abundant given its incredible height. Nissan Terrano has a ground clearance of 205mm, which is similar to that of Renault Duster, but is an add-on advantage that will keep this SUV going easily on any terrain.

The side profile of Nissan Terrano has angular bold lines which are different from Duster’s curvy lines. The flared wheel-arches make the Terrano look aggressive, distinguishing it from most of Nissan’s models in India. The doors have two horizontal creases in them that enhance the butch look, but it isn’t enough to alleviate the organic lines of the rest of the car. The rear end bears no similarity to any of the Nissan SUVs and it is evident that Nissan has developed a new tail lamp cluster without fiddling too much with the Duster lamps. It gets a chrome garnish to add a premium feel, but the overall appearance is rugged with roof rails and silver skid plates.

The flared up wheel arches of this SUV are endowed with a set of diamond-cut 16” machined light -weight alloy wheels in the top end variants, while the base as well as the mid variants are fitted with similar sized robust steel wheels, which certainly make the SUV look sportier. These classy rims have been further equipped with tubeless radial tyres of size 215/65 R16, which have a superior road grip on any terrain.

Nissan Terrano Cabin

Nissan has mildly upgraded the cabin of the Terrano in this AMT guise as a part of a mid-life update for the SUV. The dashboard is a dual-tone combination of black and beige with the former being the primary colour for most of the cabin. The layout and elements on the dashboard like the tri-pod instrument cluster, chrome laced AC vents as well as positioning of stalks and buttons has been lifted straight from the facelifted Duster. In terms of features you get electrically adjustable mirrors, 2-DIN music system and a standard AC unit. Despite this car being a top-of-the-line XV variant it lacks climate control, touchscreen music system or steering mounted audio controls. They are now expected features in this part of the market.

The quality of the plastics in the Terrano feels low rent especially when compared to its primary rival, the Hyundai Creta. There are six storage spaces in front of which two are cup holders while the rear gets two cup holders in the arm rest and one between the front seats. The rear seat back can be folded flat to expand the already massive 475-litre boot. For more info on Nissan Terrano  visit aryavarta.co.in

Where Nissan has managed to hit a few good runs is with the space and NVH insulation in the cabin. There is sufficient space in the cabin for five to sit comfortably thanks to the wide rear bench and absence of air-con blower vents. The NVH insulation on the other hand is quite good and at low speeds manages to filter out even the gravelly tone of the K9K diesel engine. However, at triple digit speeds wind and tyre noise does become quite audible.

Nissan Terrano Performance

Like we already mentioned above there are no mechanical changes under the hood of the updated Terrano. The SUV still is powered by the same 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces about 104 PS of peak power at 5, 850 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 3750 rpm. The gasoline engine paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel variant, on the other hand, gets the 1.5 Litre DCI unit which is available in two states of tune. The base trim diesel option produces about 85 Ps of peak power at 3750 Rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1900 rpm. The more powerful diesel option produces about 110 Ps of peak power at 4000 rpm and 245 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm. Transmission option for the diesel drivetrain includes a 6-speed manual while there is also an option of a six speed AMT as well available with the top end trim.

The mileage quotient ranks very highly of the preference list of the Indian population and the Nissan Terrano impresses on this front. The 1.5-liter Diesel engine with 108.5bhp of power output registers a mileage of 19kmpl, while the same engine with 83.8bhp of power output produces an impeccable mileage of 20.5kmpl. The 1.6-liter Petrol engine gives a mileage of 13.2 kmpl and these statistics make Terrano a fuel-efficient SUV.

Nissan Terrano Rideing

In bumper-to-bumper traffic, the creep function helps majorly in keeping the car moving. The six-speed AMT box shifts as low as 2200rpm on part throttle while spirited driving sees it make the changes closer to 3000rpm. The wide torque spread means it only has to drop one gear for quick overtakes. Cruising on the highway too is relatively easy as it does 100kmph in sixth gear at just 2200rpm. You can also control the shifts manually using the gear lever and this is particularly useful if you need engine braking. There is also an eco-mode button which cuts down on the immediacy of power delivery and shifts at a lower rpm to keep the fuel efficiency.

In terms of ride quality, the suspension is on the stiffer side but it is a boon as the car is able to maintain its composure over bad roads without sending too much back to the cabin. There is some amount of body roll due to the high stance of the SUV but again thanks to the stiffer setup it is able to stay decently agile in the corners. However, one of the things that Nissan has not addressed is the heavy kickback that one experiences over mid-corner bumps or undulations.

Nissan Terrano Safety

Nissan Terrano boasts of a staunch and robust braking system. The front wheels of the compact SUV are incorporated with discs which make braking deft. While the front axle of the SUV has an independent McPherson strut type of mechanism with a coil spring and also a highly advanced anti-roll bar; the rear axle gets a torsion beam axle along with coil springs and a similar anti-roll bar for enhanced comfort for the rear passengers. Both these systems put together ensure that the passengers as well as the SUV are stable at all times.

The top-end versions of the Terrano are equipped with the sophisticated Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) along with electronic brake force distribution technology, coupled with brake assist and a stability control module to further upgrade the braking mechanism of the SUV. Other safety features comprise of an engine immobilizer, central locking, driver seat belt reminder, doors-not-well-closed reminder, rear defogger, reverse parking sensor and a heated tailgate glass warning light. View offers on Nissan Cars from Nissan dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop.

Nissan Terrano Price

Nissan Terrano On-Road Price in India ranges from 11,19,510 to 16,18,135 for variants Terrano XL P and Terrano XV D PRE 110 PS AMT respectively. Nissan Terrano is available in 5 variants and 6 colours. Below are details of Nissan Terrano variants price in India.

Nissan Terrano Verdict

The Indian auto market is in for a treat from Nissan in the form of a fuel-efficient SUV named Terrano that is superior to its French cousin Renault Duster. The Renault-Nissan consortium has an agreement that the donor car will be positioned below the new model and hence the prices of the Terrano are higher as compared to the Duster. The good news for Indians is that the difference between the Terrano and its French cousin is a meagre 40,000 even for the top variant in India for price sensitivity is high in India.

Fiat Linea Engine & First Drive

Fiat Linea Overview

The Italian sense of design and styling is unparallel across the world and the physical proof it is exquisitely cited by Fiat Linea. Designed over the “Centro Stile” platform, Linea is an exclusive piece-of-art that comes with a complete package of power and performance. At present, the sedan is offered with two engine options that include a petrol and a diesel engine. Apart from a beautiful exterior design, Linea incorporates latest safety features and best-in-class comfort features. Fiat presently offers this sedan in five versions that include Active, Dynamic, Dynamic Pack, Emotion, and finally Emotion Pack. Each one of these trims can be availed with diesel and petrol fuel option.  Fiat Linea On road price starts from 9,42,861 /-. Check for price details of Fiat Linea in CarzPrice.

Fiat Linea Design

The facelifted Linea looks updated but it still has the same neat and clean proportions which definitely tells you of its classy and premium nature.Talking about the changes the big grille at the front of the car which was there from the very beginning has been changed and it now has a two slat grille which looks more sober, the air dam too looks bigger and it also has been highlighted with chrome strips which has made the front face of the car more premium. The rest of the front remained same and you will instantly recognize it as the Linea by its huge curved headlamps and a sloping bonnet. You won’t find much of a difference at the side of the car except the noticeable new alloy wheels and side rear view mirrors which gets new turn indicators.

Walk towards the rear and you will notice that the rear bumper has also been adorned with a chrome strip just like its front and a black faux diffuser which has added a tougher look to the car. The number plate now finds its place in the boot lid which is another big change that we noticed at the rear of the car.I already mentioned earlier that the Linea has always been one of the best looking cars that you will find in this segment, now with all these above mentioned changes it has become more matured and looks even more premium and will surely appeal to a large section of crowd.

Fiat Linea Cabin

Fiat Linea interiors speak fluent Italian in terms of style and looks. One has to literally sit down when they enter the car which may not be very suitable for elderly members of family. The quality of plastics and upholstery used seems good and up to the mark. The front seats offer sufficient leg room while that from rear is average. Under thigh and back support offered is superb and gets full marks in terms of seating convenience. Things may not be very comfortable for rear seat accommodators in terms of head room, therefore tall people may want to take front seat.

Dash board is cool and looks well arranged. The three spoke power steering looks pretty stylish with mounted air-con and audio controls. The bright orange light in meters and MID gives a retro look while large fonts on MID helps you know all needed information in a comprehensive way. Some of the major things that it will help you know include date of next service, average as well as instantly fuel consumption, travel time, date, time, and distance before which you need to re-fuel your car.

The well discussed “My Car” feature lets one customise features of the car as per their own convenience. It will allow you to switch on/off airbags, control beep and buzzer volume, programme speed limit, lets you decide if you want doors to close automatically or not, and several other such features. Another major noteworthy aspect is the Microsoft’s designed “Blue&Me” that connects your phone to car’s system and allows you to give voice-activated commands, receive and make phone calls, change music tracks, and have your messages read out loudly. The Blue&Me system can effortlessly store your complete phonebook and act as a backup in moment of need. The comfort is taken a level up by the strong air-conditioner that manages to keep the car cabin chilled in scorching sunlight in desert areas too. For more info on Fiat Linea visit aryavarta.co.in

The rear curtain acts as another safeguard and helps maintaining low temperature on hot days. Another special comfort aspect is the height adjustable centre arm rest for driver which is first of its kind in this segment and a commendable addition. Storage spaces are sufficient, the two cup holders, a deep glove box, and door pockets lends a helping hand in keeping your small things in place. The car carries a capacity to accommodate four people comfortably; the fifth might have to be adjusted. A boot space of 500 litres compensates all other shortcomings as it swallows your entire luggage without a hitch. Other added comforts include a rear air vent, air con vents placed under the front seat to cool rear passengers’ feet, adjustable head restraints, electrical ORVMs, door ajar warning, and a few others.

Fiat Linea Performance

Fiat offers Linea with two engine options a 1.4-litre FIRE petrol power mill and a 1.3-litre multijet diesel power mill. Both engines have been placed transversely under the hood and use a 5-speed manual transmission to deliver power to front wheels. The petrol versions of the car are powered by a 1.4-litre FIRE petrol engine that displaces 1368cc to deliver power worth 91PS against a peak torque of 115Nm. A lag may be felt at higher speed as the engine can manage to pull the 1240kgs kerb weight of the car at lower speeds only. But that doesn’t mean it is slow, the car speedily accelerates from 0-100kmph speed in just 16 seconds and attains a top speed of 165kmph.

The diesel version of the car, on the contrary, is powered by a 1.3-litre 16 valve engine whose power and performance is enhanced by Multijet and Dual OverHead Camshafts (DOHC). The DOHC and Multijet not only enhances the efficiency of this engine but also help in improving its performance. The engine smoothly manages to delivers power worth 86PS along a maximum torque of 203Nm. The Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) supports the engine’s performance and helps it in gliding from rest to 100kmph speed within 15 seconds. The diesel version of Fiat Linea carries ability to attain a maximum speed of 170kmph.

Out of the two fuel options offered with this sedan it is its diesel version that makes it especially proud in terms of mileage. Fiat Linea delivers an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 20kmpl with its diesel engine. The fuel tank of the car bears a capacity to store 45-litres of fuel in one go which means with the diesel version you can easily travel a distance of 900kms in one go. The petrol version on the other hand delivers mileage of 15kmpl as certified by ARAI. The range of distance that can be covered via this version with a full tank is 675kms, not bad considering its cost and segment.Fiat Linea in Tryaldrive.

Fiat Linea  Rideing

Coupled with decent power output and five-speed manual transmission system, the diesel version of Linea attains a top speed of 165 kmph. Along with this, the car attains a speed of 100 kmph from standstill in just 13.8 seconds. On the other hand, the T-Jet petrol version achieves the same feat in around 11.14 seconds with a top speed of 170 kmph. The FIRE petrol engine propels the Linea to clock a top speed of around 160 kmph with 0-100 kmph in just 15 seconds.

Along with a decent output, the Linea is also blessed with a decent braking mechanism. The T-Jet Active version is featured with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), which ensures a smooth braking and no skidding even at high speeds. Along with, the proficient suspension system of this car ensures that it remains stable and balanced even in non-favorable driving conditions.

Fiat Linea Safety

Fiat Linea is blessed with a number of safety features, which make it a reliable option to drive. Advancements like engine immobilizer with rolling code ensure that no outsider slips inside the car without the permission of the driver/occupants. Linea has a special fire prevention system that ensures that all the passengers are safely removed out of the car in case of fire. Other safety features of Linea include double crank prevention system, driver seat belt warning light, ABS and brake assist.

Fiat Linea Price

Fiat Linea On-Road Price in India ranges from 9,42,861 to 11,77,267 for variants Linea 1.4L Active Fire and Linea 1.4L T JET Emotion 125 S respectively. Fiat Linea is available in 5 variants and 5 colours. Below are details of Fiat Linea variants price in India. .

Fiat Linea Verdict

Fiat Linea sets a high benchmark in C segment with its stunning looks, well done interiors, and above par driving dynamics. The car gives a tough competition to all its rivals now only in terms of style and design but also in terms of power and performance. The exteriors have been done really well which allows the car to enjoy a huge fan following. The excessive use of chrome gives it an upmarket appeal which is one of the favourite features in Indian automotive market. The acceptable ground clearance in combination with a strong suspension system makes it a suitable choice with respect to Indian roads. Those looking for long trips and frequent air port trips would love to have this car as the boot space easily swallows entire luggage, a higher bay though ask for long hands to place the luggage.

Advantages & Disadvantages Of Cloud Computing

Virtual phone services

When TechSoup surveyed NGOs, nonprofits, and charities around the world in 2012, we found that lack of knowledge was the biggest barrier to adopting cloud services. We suspect that it is still a barrier. This article will help you understand what the cloud is and support you in investigating whether cloud solutions are right for your organization.

As more and more charities and libraries move to cloud services, this technology is no longer novel: it’s becoming the dominant paradigm in IT. We’ll introduce some basic cloud computing terminology and outline some of the advantages and disadvantages to cloud computing. Check for Advantages & Disadvantages Of Cloud Computing in Linkedphone.

Advantages of Cloud Computing

Tierney Smith of TechSoup Canada sums up the advantages nicely: “The move towards the cloud holds a lot of exciting potential for nonprofits of all sizes. Not only are many organizations able to realize cost savings through not having to run and maintain their own server(s) (or pay a consultant to do so), many cloud tools enable new levels of sharing and collaboration, which can transform how we work.

We live in a world where our supporters are looking to us for greater transparency and there is an increasing need to partner with other organizations to achieve real impact. Using the right cloud tools can help us break down the barriers we currently face and be the more open, effective, and resilient organizations that we need to be.”

Reduced Support and Hardware Needs

As you move more business-critical applications into the cloud, you’ll likely find that you don’t need to upgrade computers as regularly, and many employees can make do without higher-end computers. That’s because the actual computing isn’t happening on the computer:

A $200 tablet can access your Salesforce and Google Apps accounts just as quickly as a $2,000 premium laptop can. Similarly, you may find that a cloud computing infrastructure requires a smaller IT staff than a traditional IT setup does because your organization won’t be managing the software anymore.

Anywhere, Anytime Collaboration

Software as a service can act as a great simplifier for many organizations. If you have staff members working off-site, they can access their work just as easily at home as they can in the office.

If they’re using a private or secure Wi-Fi connection, there’s also no need to set up a virtual private network (VPN).What’s more, cloud tools can make it easier to collaborate with colleagues from outside the organization.

If you’re planning an event with staff from another nonprofit, for example, it’s easy to create a Basecamp project where everyone can see each other’s work.

People working in the same organization might benefit from team collaboration tools like shared calendars, video conferencing, instant messaging, and file sharing via Office 365.

A Green Choice

Cloud computing solutions are also generally greener than traditional IT because they require less in-office IT equipment. While huge datacenters require a lot of electricity, it’s still a lot less than the thousands of office-grade computers it would take to perform the same big tasks.

Large cloud computing providers can also optimize their datacenters for energy efficiency much more precisely than manufacturers of desktops and laptops can.

Disadvantages of Cloud Computing

Security and Availability

Security and availability are still the main concerns that most people have about relying on cloud-based services. You’ve probably heard of the many high-profile news stories of security breaches in cloud-based services.

Although you should certainly think about the implications of a breach in your organizational data, you should also consider that in both cloud-based and on-premises software, most security breaches are attributable to human error.

That is one reason why we published our 12 Tips to Being Safer Online. When thinking about cloud security and availability, you should also have a realistic sense of your current technology situation. Fears about the cloud are sometimes based on a utopian vision of an organization’s current situation.

Odds are that your security isn’t perfect, you don’t have 100 percent systems uptime, and you may not have staff resources dedicated to IT management. In the cloud, security and management are in the hands of trained, dedicated experts.

Cloud Vendors Going Out of Business

Cloud computing is still a quickly changing field, and there’s always the danger that a new company might go out of business or radically change its service.

A sudden change in service might not be too detrimental if you were only using the application for a one-time project, but it could be disastrous if you were using it for your entire donor database.

When evaluating cloud providers, find out what options you have for backing up and extracting your data. The best services allow you to download your data in a standard, nonproprietary format. For more info on Cloud computing check seepennywork.in

The Need for Reliable Internet Service

Finally, you will become more dependent on a good Internet connection if you rely on the cloud. As more mission-critical work is done on the Internet, organizations will need much more bandwidth and few, if any, failures in Internet connectivity.

If consistent Internet access, connection speed, or bandwidth are problems for your organization, cloud solutions may not be right for you at this time.

Top 10 Benefits Of Cloud Based System For Business

Virtual Phone Services

Chances are you rely on cloud computing to solve the challenges faced by small businesses, whether you’re firing off emails on the move or using a bunch of apps to help you manage your workload. In short, cloud is fast becoming the new normal. By the end of 2015 it’s estimated that 90% of UK businesses will be using at least one cloud service.

Simply put, cloud computing is computing based on the internet. Where in the past, people would run applications or programs from software downloaded on a physical computer or server in their building, cloud computing allows people access to the same kinds of applications through the internet.

When you update your Facebook status, you’re using cloud computing. Checking your bank balance on your phone? You’re in the cloud again.  For more info on Cloud Based Business Phone System  visit Linkedphone

Why are so many businesses moving to the cloud? It’s because cloud computing increases efficiency, helps improve cash flow and offers many more benefits…

Check out ten of the best below.

1. Flexibility

Cloud-based services are ideal for businesses with growing or fluctuating bandwidth demands. If your needs increase it’s easy to scale up your cloud capacity, drawing on the service’s remote servers. Likewise, if you need to scale down again, the flexibility is baked into the service.

This level of agility can give businesses using cloud computing a real advantage over competitors – it’s not surprising that CIOs and IT Directors rank ‘operational agility’ as a top driver for cloud adoption.

2. Disaster recovery

Businesses of all sizes should be investing in robust disaster recovery, but for smaller businesses that lack the required cash and expertise, this is often more an ideal than the reality. Cloud is now helping more organisations buck that trend.

According to Aberdeen Group, small businesses are twice as likely as larger companies to have implemented cloud-based backup and recovery solutions that save time, avoid large up-front investment and roll up third-party expertise as part of the deal.

3. Automatic software updates

The beauty of cloud computing is that the servers are off-premise, out of sight and out of your hair. Suppliers take care of them for you and roll out regular software updates – including security updates – so you don’t have to worry about wasting time maintaining the system yourself. Leaving you free to focus on the things that matter, like growing your business. Check for Cloud Based Business Phone System in cidoc2015.in

4. Capital-expenditure Free

Cloud computing cuts out the high cost of hardware. You simply pay as you go and enjoy a subscription-based model that’s kind to your cash flow. Add to that the ease of setup and management and suddenly your scary, hairy IT project looks at lot friendlier. It’s never been easier to take the first step to cloud adoption.

5. Increased collaboration

When your teams can access, edit and share documents anytime, from anywhere, they’re able to do more together, and do it better. Cloud-based workflow and file sharing apps help them make updates in real time and gives them full visibility of their collaborations.

6. Work from anywhere

With cloud computing, if you’ve got an internet connection you can be at work. And with most serious cloud services offering mobile apps, you’re not restricted by which device you’ve got to hand.

The result? Businesses can offer more flexible working perks to employees so they can enjoy the work-life balance that suits them – without productivity taking a hit. One study reported that 42% of workers would swap a portion of their pay for the ability to telecommute. On average they’d be willing to take a 6% pay cut.

7. Document control

The more employees and partners collaborate on documents, the greater the need for watertight document control. Before the cloud, workers had to send files back and forth as email attachments to be worked on by one user at a time. Sooner or later – usually sooner – you end up with a mess of conflicting file content, formats and titles.

And as even the smallest companies become more global, the scope for complication rises. According to one study, “73% of knowledge workers collaborate with people in different time zones and regions at least monthly”.

When you make the move to cloud computing, all files are stored centrally and everyone sees one version of the truth. Greater visibility means improved collaboration, which ultimately means better work and a healthier bottom line. If you’re still relying on the old way, it could be time to try something a little more streamlined.

8. Security

Lost laptops are a billion dollar business problem. And potentially greater than the loss of an expensive piece of kit is the loss of the sensitive data inside it. Cloud computing gives you greater security when this happens.

Because your data is stored in the cloud, you can access it no matter what happens to your machine. And you can even remotely wipe data from lost laptops so it doesn’t get into the wrong hands.

9. Competitiveness

Wish there was a simple step you could take to become more competitive? Moving to the cloud gives access to enterprise-class technology, for everyone.

It also allows smaller businesses to act faster than big, established competitors. Pay-as-you-go service and cloud business applications mean small outfits can run with the big boys, and disrupt the market, while remaining lean and nimble. David now packs a Goliath-sized punch.

10. Environmentally friendly

While the above points spell out the benefits of cloud computing for your business, moving to the cloud isn’t an entirely selfish act. The environment gets a little love too. When your cloud needs fluctuate, your server capacity scales up and down to fit. So you only use the energy you need and you don’t leave oversized carbon footprints.

This is something close to our hearts at Salesforce, where we try our best to create sustainable solutions with minimal environmental impact.

Datsun GO Facelift Overview & Performance

Datsun GO Overview

Datsun GO has received an update after a gap of four years. Changes to the hatchback have been made on the cosmetic front and it gets additional features that make it a better package altogether. In addition, the car maker has added new colour options to the carline. Styling changes have been made to the five-seat layout cabin; it now comes layered with a premium instrument cluster, sporty bolster cushioning and a host of other bits. Packed with the above changes, the Datsun GO price in India is pegged competitively. Datsun GO On road price starts from 3,53,701 /-. Check for price details of Datsun GO in CarzPrice.

kmindia.in

Datsun GO Design

The first thing that will catch your attention is the redesigned bumper which now also houses vertical LED daytime running strips – offered for the first time and only offered in top-spec trim – integrated into the blacked-out inserts. The new bumper design is aggressive and modern, which uplifts the GO’s demeanour to a large extent. Although the grille remains more or less unchanged, the redesigned mesh and its contrasting surrounds make it a lot more appealing than before. The most important update is the addition of the 14-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels – another first – in the top-spec trim. Previously, Datsun offered only steel rims and even this was for the T (O) guise.

At the rear, the changes are limited to the restyled bumper. Then there is the new body colour option – Amber Orange for the GO and Sunstone Brown for GO Plus – which also adds to the appeal. On the downside, you can still find uneven panel gaps all around the car. Overall, the quirky design of the GO (and the GO Plus) has been further enhanced with the updates and they get a proper JDM styling, making both the cars a considerable alternative

Datsun GO Cabin

The interiors have been given a heavy revision. The dashboard gets a new design which looks more appealing than the older cars. The GO gets a full black layout for the dash while the GO+ gets a dual-tone theme. Fit and finish has improved a lot and so has the quality of materials used in the cabin. The handbrake has been moved to its conventional location. The older GO came with only speakers and a port to mount your phone but now it gets a Blaupunkt touchscreen audio system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, etc. Sound quality is just average though. The USB port has been placed a bit inconveniently below the centre console.

Datsun claims that the vehicles come with anti-fatigue seats but honestly the front seats are quite thin and they lack proper support for the under-thigh while support for the back is good. Also the centre console which houses the gear lever is very large and it keeps hitting the knee of the driver and front passenger which gets really annoying because leg space is already very less. The seats aren’t very wide though. The rear seats offer average comfort but knee room is limited, more so when there’s a tall passenger sitting upfront. The GO has enough boot space for a couple of small bags while the GO+ comes with a third row which again has extremely limited space and isn’t suited to full-size adults. With the third row up, boot space in the GO+ is very negligible but with the last row folded, the cargo capacity gets increased drastically.

Datsun GO Performance

Under the hood of the GO and GO Plus is the same 1,198cc three-cylinder petrol motor as the older models. We know the older car was peppy in nature, and with the same Micra-sourced engine, this characteristic should have been retained. But to our surprise, this isn’t the case. Off the line, the Datsun is smooth but once on the move, there is no low-end grunt whatsoever. Under 2,000 rpm, there is no torque from the engine and it has to be revved higher to gain any kind of moment. Check for Datsun GO in aryavarta.co.in

The motor feels best in the mid-range (past 2,500rpm) which was decent for both city and highway commute. In higher gears, the revs take their own sweet time to climb, and the speed gathered isn’t as much as you’d expect. Moreover, keeping the revs high in a city vehicle seems a bit ridiculous, because the engine noise at the higher rpm is anything but pleasant. But the biggest issue is its notchy gearbox. There’s a rubbery feel to it, and shifting gears is cumbersome, especially in traffic. It takes unnecessary effort sometimes to slot in the gear, and this gearbox is not meant for quick shifting.

Datsun GO Rideing

The suspension set up on the GO is pliant for our roads. The ride isn’t very plush but it is comfy enough unless the roads get really bad. The suspension travel is long and the GO siblings have a significant amount of body roll, which feels even more pronounced in the GO+ and sudden lane changes aren’t confidence inspiring. The steering doesn’t provide much feedback and is kind of vague. Braking performance is also pretty average and pedal doesn’t have a sharp bite.

Datsun GO Safety

The Datsun GO features safety bits such as driver side airbag, co-passenger airbag, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, central locking and driver seatbelt warning as standard across the line-up. It additionally comes with rear washer, rear defogger and rear wiper. Braking power on the entry-level hatchback is derived from disc front brakes and rear drum units.View offers on Datsun Cars from Datsun dealers in Hyderabad at Autozhop

Datsun GO Price

Datsun GO Verdict

The Datsun GO 2018 facelift gets styling changes on the outside as well as inside. Datsun has also packed additional features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which is a segment-first feature. Overall, it is a better package than the pre-facelift version. The Datsun GO siblings feel better than before now but there is still a lot of room for improvement. If you really need a 7-seater on a tight budget, the GO+ is the only choice in the market but if you just need a regular hatchback, the GO is a decent proposition if the car will be used strictly within the city. Hyundai is going to launch the all new Santro very soon and this is one car that is likely to have an upper hand over the GO. Cars like the Tata Tiago also make for a good choice, if you can stretch your budget slightly.

Clearly, the term “digital marketing” has skyrocketed. Not just that, in Q1 2017, 214 Indian tech start-ups raised about $1.46 Bn in funding! This clearly shows the upward trend in digital.

Adding to that, the highlighting benefit about the digital industry is that it caters to every industry sector – gainers or losers – thus making the digital sector a big gainer in the end!

Plus, the growing number of Internet users (currently, half the world population uses the internet from their desktops and phones) all over the world has fuelled the need for digital jobs worldwide!

Nothing like getting a stable, secure and recession – proof job, is there?

2. Huge Demand For Digital Marketers

Marketing is the most important aspect of a business. While some people may disagree, and say that product development is the most important, it is vital to remember that there wouldn’t be any product if market research hadn’t been undertaken in the first place. The sudden penetration of smartphones, personal computers and internet to the masses has changed the media consumption and buying behaviour of consumers. Traditional marketing methods are no longer enough to reach customers.

Today, every company in the world deploys digital media marketing in some form or other, whether they are small mom-and-pop stores who use WhatsApp as a means to communicate with their market or big conglomerates who use Inbound Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Re-Marketing, etc as part of their digital strategy.

As of 2017, there are more than 8 lakh jobs in the digital media industry available in India! However, there are not nearly enough digital professionals to fill this demand gap. Mercedes Benz GLA Class Overview & Performance

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Overview

Mercedes has recently taken the covers off the facelift GLA Class which will be sold as the 2018 model. The car was recently unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The GLA was launched for the first time back in 2013 and it impressed everyone with its handling and refinement characteristics. Some of the main highlights of Mercedes first compact SUV included dynamic design, light footed handling and offcourse the premium interior. This new SUV also helped Mercedes become the broadest SUV range over all the other premium European car manufacturers. Mercedes Benz GLA Class  price range in India is between 36,71,912 to 44,02,720, check for detail pricing of Mercedes Benz GLA Class in Carzprice

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Design

Yes, the GLA is an SUV but that does not mean you start vacating your parking space or think of getting more area to keep this one as it is very compact in dimensions. Unlike traditional SUVs, this one chooses to look more crisp than brawny. It might remind you of the A-Class but see it in real and the bigger car gets elevated. A pronounced radiator grille with twin slats and a handsome Mercedes Benz logo is the new face of all portfolio cars. It gives a familiar look to all models without making them look like twins. On the hood of the GLA are parallel running power bulges. There is a large air intake on the front bumper which has been treated in a glossy aluminium finish. The air pockets on both corners of the bumper look smart too. Adding to the front face are the newly designed Bi-Xenon headlights with LED day time lights. The LED curve which is now seen on all cars including the newly revealed AMG GT looks extremely stylish.

The side profile gets flared wheel arches. These arches and the lower running board area have plastic cladding making it look tough. We liked the 18inch alloys which Mercedes offers as standard equipment. While we say it is part of the standard list, these models cannot be termed as ‘reasonably’ priced because of the complicated designs and list of additions it gets over the A-Class.It shares its wheelbase with the premium hatch and that’s the only similarity in dimensions as the GLA is a longer vehicle. Visually, it looks bigger. This one has a ground clearance of 183mm meaning it is more capable to take soft roads in addition to tight manoeuvring on normal tarmac. The same can be vindicated with the fact of 235/50 R18 tyres being offered as standard.

What we loved about the styling are the design lines flowing in tandem. It is a SUV, which has been styled like a coupe especially the rhythmically flowing window section along with the character lines on the side profile. The C-Pillar flows smoothly on the waist line carrying the dynamic stance to the wide tail gate. Many would agree that the rear profile of the GLA  Class leaves a better impact than the front and side combined together. It is simply the attention to detailing like the split tail lights which are connected with a chrome lining or the lower exhaust surround which gets a brushed glossy finish with twin sporty exhausts.

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Cabin

Now step inside and this is when you can’t make any difference between the A siblings if you are not a keen observer. Only way to feel the difference is the seat height, which is slightly above the average sedan height but in the world of SUVs, it is still low. What changes in the GLA facelift you ask? Well, nothing major apart from the new three-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting with 12 colours and a bigger 8-inch infotainment display that now comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The steering now has a 3D effect to it, the horn pad jutting out, looks nice. The screen is bright and clear but it’s not touch, you have to control it via the COMMAND system knobs. Otherwise everything is similar and the dashboard looks quite attractive, specially the slightly updated instrument cluster. I also like the way the aircon vents are styled, practical yet flashy. However, I really can’t digest the fact that a Rs. 40 lakh + Mercedes doesn’t come with auto climate control! It doesn’t even have a reverse parking sensor but thankfully gets a camera.

What you would like in the GLA is the fantastic quality, consistency and the feel of materials. Everything is top notch, the equipment list is quite strong too, push button start, panoramic sunroof, electric seats, driving modes, electric tailgate, etc. The seats also get soft leather which smells nice too. Now the rear seat experience is average if you have the SUV practicality in mind because headroom for tall passengers is limited and because of the huge transmission hump, the middle passenger might find it a squeeze. The tailgate now is electrically operational. The boot is quite big and accommodating but the spare space saver wheel just eats up a lot of space. For more info on GLA Class visit  aryavarta.co.in

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Performance

The GLA range of SUV’s includes GLA 180 (petrol), GLA 200 (petrol), GLA 250 (petrol), GLA 250 4MATIC. The diesel variant on the other hand consists of the GLA 180 d (diesel), GLA 200 d (diesel), GLA 200 d 4MATIC (diesel), GLA 220 d (diesel) and GLA 220 d 4MATIC (diesel). The Mercedes GLA is available in the Indian market the GLA 200 and the GLA 200 and the GLA 200 D variants. The GLA 200 is powered by the 2.0 Litre, four cylinder unit which is capable of producing about 183 Hp of peak power at 5500 rpm and 300 Nm of torque in between 1800-2400 rpm. The GLA 200 D on the other hand gets the 2.2 Litre inline 4 diesel model which produces about 136 Hp of peak power and 300 Nm of torque in between 1600 to 3000 rpm. Both the engines are paired to a 7G-DCT 7 speed dual clutch transmission. The 2018 Mercedes GLA gets a new model in the form of GLA 220 4MATIC, this variant is powered by 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 135 kW (184 hp) and 300 Nm of torque.

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Rideing

Mercedes has upped its game in the dynamics department with the newer lot of cars. Same is the case with the GLA and its ride and handling balance. I really like the way it soaks bumps and takes undulations. You won’t feel out of place on bad Indian roads with this pliant ride quality. Well, ride has been Mercedes’ forte always but they have managed to strike the right balance of handling as well. The nose turns in quickly with your steering inputs and the feedback isn’t numb. It provides consistent feel while cornering and you know where it’s going. Body roll is there but it’s not to the extent that you get annoyed, the roll is controllable. I was a bit disappointed with the brakes of my test car because the previous publication who got hold of it had tested it on the BIC. The brake pads were worn off and the pedal feel was inconsistent.

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Safety

Safety is a big priority for the three-pointed star and the GLA gets high-tech equipment including ABS, ESP, 6 airbags, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring system, attention assist, etc. Mercedes is spreading its foothold in the Indian market rapidly and the network is getting quite strong pan India. In this scenario you need not worry about the after sales, which is quite manageable even in non-metro cities. Yes, it is a German luxury car and you should be ready for heavy bills if you damage a crucial part.

Mercedes Benz GLA Class Verdict

The Mercedes GLA gets additional equipment which definitely has helped the GLA to become even more value for money product. The improved aerodynamics on the other hand will help improve the overall fuel efficiency figures and also at the same time improve its overall handling. The interior too received its own significant updates as wellThere are some Android users who find their phone value for money and there are some Apple users who are addicted to the ecosystem and feel satisfied using the expensive phone. Same is the case with feature loaded full-sized 7-seater SUVs and compact luxury SUVs. Those who are living the ecosystem of luxury cars and can afford a Rs. 40 lakh compact SUV, the GLA is a beautiful car. You not only arrive in style and turn heads on signals but you also feel relaxed and comfortable driving the Merc.

The Top Global Content Marketing Trends

SEO Company in London

Guests expect, require, and demand more – in terms of service excellence, product benefits and in our digital age, brand content. Brands everywhere are responding to this need, with 70% creating more content today, than they did two years ago.

Here are some key global content trends to look for this year, aimed at creating a more personalised experience for your target market.

Content Marketing Budget

By now the market has identified the value and importance of content in current day marketing strategies, and like everything else in business, it comes with a price. Do the necessary research to ascertain the type of content that will best suit your industry – this will provide an estimation of the kind of costs involved in creating or acquiring the same. For more details visit SEO Agency in London

According to the Content Marketing Institute, 93% of businesses plan to increase their investment in content creation in 2016, opening doors to several opportunities for brands everywhere.

The Growth of Social Media

Instagram has grown 20% between 2013 and 2015 in the Middle East and is one of the fastest growing platforms in this region. With a variety of social media channels to choose from, consumers can be found all over the online marketing map, with each channel offering its own unique set of advantages and challenges.

Businesses need to therefore determine and tailor their social content strategies to best suit their audiences and channels of choice. Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn continue to be favourites with regular new content marketing options – Twitter’s Project Lightening promotes incorporated content and Facebook’s ‘Instant Articles’ gives brands better looking and faster loading mobile versions of articles and stories, versus the housing of content only on their own websites.

That said businesses are also keenly exploring relatively newer channels like Periscope, Meerkat and Snapchat to reach their markets.

Interactive Storytelling and Series-Based Content

Brands around the world have successfully combined the hugely effective storytelling method (like Moma.org) with episodic content and while both work well individually, together they’re a powerful combination.

Interactive storytelling is a creative way to showcase brand image, features and personality and thanks to technologies like Oculus Rift – user journeys are set to reach new highs. Similarly, content creation in series form builds interest, engagement, and entertainment as well. A strong example of this is Coca-Cola’s ‘Crossroads’ campaign.

Choice of Visuals

Visual trends lead ahead of copy-based content, effectively driving traffic and increasing engagement. From strong, creative imagery and infographics (62% of marketers actively use infographic driven content) to the use of video, the social sphere is brimming over with visual content from either the brands themselves or of the user-generated variety.

UGC is fast becoming a favourite element of the content marketing mix, with its many positives in terms of cost, availability, SEO capabilities and authenticity.

Distribution

Social Media Examiner stated 92% of marketers reported social media as being an important component of marketing plans. A content framework is only as effective as its distribution plan and a targeted strategy promises considerably better results.

Brands are now willing to examine the benefits of distribution whether paid, earned or owned, as this helps build credibility, drives traffic, and promote sales. Hubspot confirmed 71% of marketers looked forward to an increased content marketing budget.

Hyundai Grand i10 Performance & First Drive

Hyundai Grand i10 Overview

Hyundai, the second largest car maker in India is on a product offensive with eight new products slated to go on sale in India by the year 2020. The first among these will be the all-new Hyundai Santro which will sit below the Hyundai Grand i10. And while the Grand i10 still looks quite good, the company has already started testing the next generation model that has been spotted testing along with the Hyundai Carlino. Hyundai Grand i10 price range in India is between 5,30,257 to 8,67,300, check for detail pricing of Hyundai Grand i10 in Carzprice

Hyundai Grand i10 Design

As part of the 2017 update, the new Hyundai Grand i10 gets three big changes on the outside. In this top of the line Asta trim, it gets a more sculpted front bumper with day time running LED lights. These bumpers, says Hyundai, besides giving the Grand a sportier presence, also helps the car’s aeros creating an air curtain around the front wheels. The end result is better fuel economy.

The rear bumper is new too. And though it doesn’t have any functional benefit, it does give the Grand that hint of freshness its rear-end needed so badly. The alloy wheel design is new too. Among the smaller changes is a revised grille, a longer antenna and the keyless entry access button is now only on the driver’s side. So, have these changes given the Grand a new lease on life? Not visually. It still looks a little staid against its newest challenger, the Ignis.

Hyundai Grand i10 Cabin

Inside the new hatchback still retains the dual tone beige and black interior with the touches of chrome and silver accents. Apart from the duel tone dashboard the seat upholstery also has been finished in Duel tone colours as well.

The newest addition to the interior is the large 7.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system which also features smartphone connectivity Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link. This infotainment system can easily connect with Smartphone navigation interface and also features a dedicated voice recognition button positioned on the steering wheels which promises to provide safe driving experience.

The rest of the interior however has been carried over from the pre-facelift variant. The ASTA trim now gets an automatic climate control system as standard.

Hyundai Grand i10 Performance

But the performance, courtesy the new diesel engine, is outstanding on the new Grand i10 1.2 D. It displaces 1186cc and makes 75bhp. But more importantly, the torque rating is up to 190Nm from 160Nm on the older 1.1-litre engine. The specs on paper finally put it on par with the Maruti Suzuki Swift or even the Ignis for that matter. The gearbox meanwhile is a five-speed manual and there’s no automatic option on offer just yet.On the road, the Grand i10 proves to be quicker than the Swift. It only took 13.2 seconds to complete the 0-100kmph run and another five seconds to go past the 400m mark from a standstill. There’s a dramatic improvement in the car’s driveability as well compared to the older Grand i10. The 1.2D is four seconds quicker in the 40-100kmph-tractability test against the 1.1-litre diesel powered Grand. What’s more, Hyundai says, the drop in fuel efficiency isn’t significant on the new car.

One can feel this difference even without the help of a VBOX. The throttle response is sharper, there’s more grunt all across the rev range, and courtesy the gearing, one can’t really feel the turbo lag on the new car either. The 1.2D Grand i10 pulls cleanly all the way to 4,500rpm and though it gets noisy past 3,500rpm, one doesn’t really need to go there. Keep the Grand i10 1.2D between the 1,500 to 2,500rpm and it is happy to motor around in this rev range all day be it in the city or doing triple digit speeds on the highway.

Hyundai Grand i10 Driving

Ride is another strong quality of the Grand i10. It might seem a bit noisy over poor surfaces. But, the absorption quality and the suspension’s ability to keep all the tyres connected to the road no matter the size of bumps and potholes or the frequency and amplitude of road ripples, is excellent. It does make for a comfortable car.

Hyundai Grand i10 Safety

Talking about the safety features, the facelift Grand i10 gets advanced safety features like Rear Parking Assist System with Dual Airbags, ABS, Reverse Parking Sensors and newly introduced Rear Parking Camera which displays all the output on the newly added 7.0 Inch touchscreen monitor.

Hyundai Grand i10 Price

Hyundai Grand I10 On-Road Price in India ranges from 5,30,257 to 8,67,300 for variants Grand i10 1.2 Era Petrol and Grand i10 1.2 Asta Diesel respectively. Hyundai Grand i10 Verdict

The only aspect we haven’t touched upon yet is the new Grand i10’s dynamic ability. For starters, it feels stable and safe at three digit speeds on the highway, so that’s well covered. It’s got decent brakes too. But, if you love driving, the Grand i10 might not appeal to you. The steering lacks feel, the chassis seems mute and though it feels up to the task of taking on quick direction changes, it really isn’t a car that excites.

But, if you are looking for a practical, comfortable, usable and easy to live with diesel-powered hatchback, the new Grand i10 fits the bill. It’s well equipped too in this Asta trim. And with the current generation Swift on its swan song, not to mention the Ignis’ polarising appeal, the Grand really has it good with at least another three years left in it and a design that’s certainly more palatable.
